The pressure sensor is one of the most widely used tools used in industrial automation. Pressure is the force on the surface which is defined in the SI device based on pascal (Pa) sensor. Pressure is used in various industries such as aviation industry, automobile industry, meteorology and also in other industries.
The Hagler PX5 series pressure transmitter is distinguished by its innovative flush diaphragm design. A flush diaphragm eliminates dead space, which is the unused space between the diaphragm and the pressure port. This design minimizes the possibility of contamination and improves the response time of the transmitter. In addition, the coplanar aperture provides a more accurate measurement.
The flush diaphragm design of the PX5 also features high-quality SS316L material that is resistant to corrosion and harsh chemicals.
With an impressive overpressure rating of 2x full scale or 1100 bar, whichever is less, the PX5 withstands extreme pressure fluctuations without compromising performance or compromise its integrity.
Basically, pressure sensors are made in three different types, which are used depending on the type of application.
These three types are:
1. Analog pressure sensor
2. Digital pressure sensor
3. Hand pressure sensor (manometer)
Each of the categories mentioned above is used in its own space, which we will discuss further.
1. Digital pressure sensor: these sensors act as zero and one and only inform the user of the absence or presence of pressure in the system. If there is pressure in the system This sensor can determine an open or closed contact in its output.
2. Analog pressure sensor: This type of pressure sensor is widely used in the industry. These sensors can sense millibar sensitivity and show it in their output. Analog pressure sensors have an output of 4-20 mA or 0-10 V.
3. Hand pressure sensor: This pressure sensor determines the pressure in the system as the hand rotates.

### The difference between digital, analog and hand pressure sensors:
• Each of the above sensors are used in different parts of the system.
• The needle pressure sensor is very sensitive to the instantaneous pressure increase.
• The analog pressure sensor is much more accurate than other sensors.
