In fact, one of the most important features of the thermostat is the ability to display the temperature value of the sensor.
Thermostat is a combination of the Greek words Thermo (heat) and statos (stop and stay). Therefore, from the integration of these two words, we understand that the thermostat is a device that maintains the heat at the set point.
In addition to displaying the temperature value, thermostats have other functions. Thermostats can keep the temperature of an environment constant. Some thermostats can have more than one temperature sensor connected to them to display the temperature. PLCs also have the ability to read and display the temperature value. But since it may not be economically justified to use PLCs in many cases, thermostats can be used. Some thermostats also have the ability to be networked in industrial processes. They can read several alarms from them. Also, thermostats have the ability to become PID, which makes this important feature increase the use of this equipment in burners.
Thermostats have various working modes, for example, you can mention cold and heat mode in thermostats. Control mode is also defined in the thermostat. In fact, the output of the thermostat can be defined in different modes, the output of the thermostat (that is, the methods of reaching the temperature set by the user) can be ON/OFF, in this case the output of the thermostat can act as a relay or SSR.
