The optical sensors of the BR series are made in the form of a cylinder with a diameter of 18 mm. One of the features of this family is the presence of a sensor capable of detecting a longitudinal distance of up to 20 meters and a high response time of less than 1 millisecond. Also, in this series of Atonix electronic eyes, noise resistance has been improved by processing digital signals. The BR series in 4 different modes makes measurement practical for a wide range of applications. This series is also made in different types of connectors that provide easier maintenance and wiring for the user.
## The main features of Atonix optical sensor BRQM100-DDTA:
● Detection distance of 10 cm
● Cylindrical model with a diameter of 18 mm
● Easy maintenance and wiring conditions with a variety of connections
● High response speed (less than one millisecond)
● Resistant to impact from the environment with glass lens (BR4M)
● IP66 degree of protection
● The ability to adjust the viewing distance (one-sided models)
● Resistant to ambient noise
● With a narrow infrared radius (one-sided models)
● Protected against positive and negative polarity reversal and overcurrent
Optical sensors are another type of proximity sensors that operate based on sending and receiving infrared waves. These optical sensors detect any object regardless of its type.
Optical sensors are divided into the following three categories:
I: One-sided Diffuse
II: Retroreflective
III: Two-way through-beam

In this type of sensors, the transmitter and receiver parts are located next to each other and inside a case. The light sent by the transmitter is spread directly in the environment, and if it hits an obstacle, it is reflected and changed by the receiver. Using the coefficient table below, the performance interval will be determined.
Reflective:
In this type of sensors, the transmitter and receiver are installed next to each other and inside a case, the light sent by the transmitter is spread in the environment and is reflected directly to the receiver by hitting a reflector (mirror). If there is an obstacle in this path, the light does not reach the receiver and the sensor detects the obstacle.
two way :
In this type of sensors, the transmitter and receiver are located separately from each other and must be installed facing each other. The light sent by the transmitter is emitted in the environment and received by the receiver. If there is an obstacle in this path, the light does not reach the receiver and the sensor detects the presence of an obstacle in front of it.
Optical sensors are divided into two types, Light on and Dark on, in terms of operation.
Light on: In the normal state when there is no obstacle in front of the sensor, the output is sen
