Graphite gasket

A gasket is an elastomer piece that fills the space between two surfaces. These parts are used in all industries including food processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, water and gas. In short, a gasket is a mechanical seal that fills the space of two or more surfaces for sealing. Gaskets produced from graphite sheets are cut for standard flanges or non-standard shapes. The strength of gaskets is increased by adding layers of stainless steel. Among the advantages of graphite gaskets are corrosion resistance, thermal endurance and non-adhesion to the flange body. These sheets are made of resin-free graphite, which are available in both metal-reinforced and metal-free versions. These flexible graphite sheets have significant resistance to corrosion, including various types of acids and alkalis, salt solutions, organic compounds, and transfer of hot liquids with high temperatures. Reinforced metal graphite double-sided sheets are an ideal choice for 95% of sheet gasket applications. These gasket materials will meet the needs of refineries, petrochemicals and industries. Gaskets are used to prevent leaks in pressurized connections.
