As the name of this product suggests, the Magnaflux boil test spray contains a set of 3 items, which are :
1- Cleaner: Magnaflux SKC-S
2- Penetrant: Magnaflux SKL-SP2\ r\n3- Detector or developer: Magnaflux SKD-S2

In the welding test, before performing the test, the environment must be completely free of any dust, petroleum and non-petroleum solvent, grease, oil and ... for this reason, a very strong cleaner should be used, which Magnaflux SKC-S spray cleaner is used in this product. Magnaflux cleaner spray can clean the smallest particles contaminating surfaces by penetrating all the pores of the surface, and due to its very high volatility, it evaporates quickly and easily from the environment and leaves no traces behind.

The second spray of penetrating Magnaflux or penetrite: Magnaflux SKL-SP2, this product contains red permeable material that easily enters cracks and pores and color Its intense red also makes the detection process very easy. Magnaflux SKL-SP2 spray can easily perform detection operations in underground environments. This product is normally used in welding, pressure vessels, foundry environment, general metalworking, leak testing and power plants and construction purposes. Magnaflux SKD-S2 is Solvent Based Developer which is used in the final stage for revealing. Magnaflex detector spray is a product with white foam and blue base. The Magnaflux detector spray quickly and easily pulls out the penetrating material inside the crack or void and clearly reveals the unwelded environment.

SKL-SP2 Penetrant
In the PT (Magnaflex) welding test method, the technician sprays colored or fluorescent penetrant on the desired surface by brushing apply. After a short period of time, about 20 minutes, the excess material of penetrating liquid on the surface is removed by a cleaning spray (Cleaner) or a chemical cleaning device or water depending on the type of penetrating material, and the desired surface is dried.
Developer is sprayed on the surface. The effectiveness of this spray in the weld inspection method with PT penetrant liquid is in such a way that the penetrant material, which is in the form of a white powder, acts like a sponge and absorbs the penetrant liquid and penetrates into the cracks and gaps, and the size of the discontinuity shows on a larger scale. The size and location of exposed cracks should be recorded in the PT weld test report. Then, after writing complete reports and identifying defects, the tested surface should be completely cleaned of any penetrating materials and exposed spray.
