Animal oil, which is also known as Zagros oil or yellow oil in Iran; It is an animal product and an edible oil that is prepared from cow or sheep milk. This local oil is one of the commonly used oils in some parts of Iran, and the best and most desirable type is prepared in the Zagros region, which has a pleasant taste and smell and has a high nutritional value. In its traditional preparation method, milk is turned into yogurt and then into buttermilk, and the butter is obtained using musk and boiled until it is completely pure. The taste and quality of animal oil depends a lot on the way the animal is fed and grazed. The grazing of sheep flocks from the aromatic plants of the high mountain areas in the Kermanshah region gives this oil a special smell and taste.
